Do I need a GP or midwife referral?
No, you can book directly. I’ll always check your health history and make sure treatment is safe for you and your baby. If needed, I’ll also communicate with your GP or midwife as part of your care team.
What kind of treatment do you use?
I use gentle, pregnancy-safe osteopathic techniques. These are non-invasive, hands-on methods such as soft tissue release, gentle joint mobilisations, and supportive positioning. Everything is adapted to your stage of pregnancy, with your comfort and your baby’s wellbeing always as the top priority.
Can exercise be included?
Yes. If you need a simple pregnancy exercise routine, mobility drills & pregnancy safe stretches, or home exercise advice, this will be part of your standard 60-minute session, alongside manual therapy.
If you choose the 90-minute option, we can dedicate up to 30 minutes to exercise together.
If you’d like to continue exercising with a complete routine during pregnancy — with monitoring, accountability, and program modification — you can join my Online Personal Training Coaching. This programme can be tailored to pregnancy, and is especially valuable postpartum, where it can support safe recovery and rebuilding strength after giving birth.
Is osteopathy safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Osteopathy in pregnancy is very safe. The techniques I use are gentle, non-invasive, and adapted to each stage of pregnancy. I work with your body — never against it. I also encourage working as part of your care team, keeping in mind your GP, obstetrician, or midwife if needed, so treatment always complements your overall pregnancy care plan.
